Boston Buddies is an organization of volunteers who rescue and rehome Boston Terriers and Boston Terrier mixes in Los Angeles, Ventura, Orange and Kern counties, as well as some surrounding communities. Our loving volunteers are dedicated to the combined efforts of shelter rescues, owner surrenders, adoptions, and education for you and your present or future Boston Buddy. Boston Buddies is committed to helping every Boston terrier in need find a loving forever home. Our volunteers have spent hundreds of hours over the years establishing relationships with the various shelters that serve the areas we cover and proven our ability and willingness to respond quickly to a call for help. Each year, Boston Buddies takes in dogs with special needs ranging from mange, broken bones, severe eye injuries and other medical issues that prevented them from being offered by the shelters to the public for adoption. We've also found ourselves taking in dogs from owners who have neglected to get them the care they need. Because of your generous donations Boston Buddies has the resources and ability to step up and take these dogs with special needs that would otherwise be euthanized. We are not miracle workers and we don’t always have the magic cure – but we do what we can to give these dogs the best medical care we can provide and the best chance at finding that perfect forever home with a family that will love and cherish them. These are the truly needy dogs of rescue and it is only through your generosity that we are able to help them so we thought we would share their stories and successes with you on our newly updated Special Needs Page.
