Granny Annie by the Old Cedar Tree

in her Stroller

May Lattanzio sent Boston Buddies an update on her life with Granny Annie:

Annie and I do about a mile a night - I walk, and she enjoys the neighborhood sights and sounds from the comfort of her stroller. I am not the weird old lady with the dog in the stroller anymore. Now she has made many friends, including children, and we are familiar to everyone on our circuit. I do try to vary the route, because Annie seems to like that. She likes to go fast, and likes going over bumps (tree roots). She doesn't like to stop once we get going and she lets me know by grumbling (actually, it's a bark). I really think she has a condescending attitude toward the little Chihuahuas down the road who are never inside their fence - poor things have to walk!

Our current activity is picking blackberries and we are usually joined
by several youngsters, all of whom adore her.

Thank you for your interest in my article. She is a very special old dog
and she is loved very much.
